Casa del Sol in Nashville

Absolutely impressed by the quality of food and service! Family owned and operated and it shows! Highly recommend if you're in the are!

We went to Casa Del Sol yesterday with some friends for dinner. When the waitress brought our salsa, chips and little bowls, one of the bowls still had leftover food residue inside of it. That should've been our red flag and we should've left. 5 out of the 9 of us ended up really sick with stomach issues (3 adults and 2 kids). The only thing we all ate that was in common were the refried beans. So, either the beans were bad or they were tampered with.

1. They're vegetarian options aren't actually vegetarian. they are cooked in chicken broth.2. Our server was very rude and didn't want to answer our questions.3. The free chips and salsa at the table are the worst I've ever had at a Mexican restraint.4. The food was not really Mexican food, it was American Mexican. it wasn't very good5. There was no hot sauce on the table.

The salsa and chips were amazing. Really would have like something else but the grill was not working. They did however have a notice on the door. They had a 3 taco $3 deal which was an amazing price. I'll be back.

if you have a medical condition dont go. this is a place that will violate your civil rights and deny you service if you dont wear a mask. the only place in Nashville so far. everywhere else has been great.

Yeah, but no. Mediocre Mexican in a good location. I was unimpressed with the service and the kitchen. Very nice patio, though. Go for drinks after you shop Nashville. I wish the Pine Room and Muddy Boots were still open. I don't know where to eat now.

First time visit (from Bloomington) – joined a couple – very nice restaurant- Enjoyable atmosphere- clean, and nicely landscaped, not overwhelming, just nice- was nice to see the owner present and working on a busy Friday, as well as her son and daughter, a beautiful family for sure- Fresh and crisp beverages (sometimes it’s just nice to have a fresh delicious Coca-Cola- our friends enjoyed a margarita) chips and salsa were yummy (we also tried the bean dip/with white cheese queso, which was delicious) food was very good, Service was lovely, prices are reasonable, we will be back 😁

The food was amazing. We have Mexican food often and we're actually pleasantly surprised by this place. Fast service and the food was perfect. So much flavor. Even when our plates were brought out we commented on how nice it looked. I place you must visit if yourin Nashville.

When I saw the sign that said "Authentic Mexican Cuisine," I was excited to see what they had to offer. Just because the cooks are Hispanic/Lantix doesn't mean the food is authentic. The food is definitely Americanized. The sign was very misleading.

Food had little to NO taste. My husband got a Margarita ($14.99) and it was all syrup which made him sick.

First time eating here, it was really good, got the burrito grande. The salsa was good a little different than I am use to but I enjoyed the meal. Would come back and eat here again atmosphere was good waitress was great.

Had the worst steak tacos I've ever had. I ordered 15 steak tacos and most literally had 2 or 3 small slices of steak and the rest were tomatoes and fried onions when I specifically asked for cilantro and raw onion only for veggies!

The wait staff did a good job serving us while following physical distancing. The food was hot and delicious with large portions.

Fabulous little Mexican restaurant, in the heart of Nashville, Indiana.On the day I went, I had arrived 5 minutes before the restaurant opening. They opened promptly and ready to go. The service and the food were top-notch.

If you like Mexican food and visit a little Nashville this is the place for you the food is good and prepared by actual Mexicans hee hee!

My husband was mistaken for another man by an employee there. We were chased out of the restaurant and told to never come back. We were given stale chips and cold food. Also, were not treated very nicely by other employee and we had no idea why. I called back after, to find out it was a misunderstanding. My husband looked “similar” to a man who hurt this employee in her past. We had driven several hours to Nashville to enjoy our anniversary. We will NOT be returning to this restaurant. Just a heads up about how they run things at this restaurant. Terrible.

Service wasnt great, waitress was way off her game...she forgot alot of our order, forgot napkins and never brought knife that was missing from placesetting

My order was for myself and co-workers. Everything was perfect. It was double checked before I left to make sure I had my total order. The young man was very polite and helpful.

Came here for dinner on our first trip to Nashville. Ratings were high, so we decided to try it. Chips were stale and chewy. Staff was surprised by the crowd on a Saturday evening. Service was okay. Food wasn't as good as we expected. We have definitely been to better Mexican restaurants in Ohio. Pink Margarita had zero flavor. Overall, it was okay but we have had better.

I give them a five-star because the service was great the food was good and the Margaritas excellent!

Excelent and upstanding service from the waitress, nice cold beer, good chips and salsa, clean place, my first time here with my wife but is only one BIG problem, not seasoning on food at all, not flavor fajitas tasteless, over cook and too much vegetables... Is sad see soo many restaurants loosing the real passion for cook and let them be in the ok zone...Definitely back for the cold beer and relaxing time but not for food 👎👎👎👎
